Ordering process

What happens after I place an order?

After you place an order on barrier4u.com, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please review all order details carefully and contact us immediately if anything is incorrect.

Before accepting certain orders, we may carry out internal checks relating to payment, delivery, or account information. If needed, we may request prepayment or additional verification before dispatch.

Prices & payment

Prices are shown in USD and normally exclude sales tax unless otherwise stated. Any applicable sales tax, shipping charges, and other fees will be shown at checkout where relevant.

Invoice

Invoices are due in full within 30 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise stated in writing. Goods remain the property of Snelder Gruppen AB until paid in full.

Late payment

Late payments may be subject to interest, reminder fees, and collection costs where permitted by applicable law.

Shipping & delivery

Shipping costs

Shipping and handling costs are shown during checkout on barrier4u.com. Please contact us if you need a quote for a larger order or a special delivery arrangement.

Lead times

  • Stock items: normally dispatched within 2–3 business days
  • Made-to-order items: lead time shown on the product page or confirmed after order

Delivery

  • Carrier: typically DHL or equivalent carrier
  • Deliveries are usually made Monday–Friday during standard business hours
  • Part shipments may occur in order to speed up fulfillment
  • Delivery is normally made to the ground floor or loading point at the delivery address

If you want to use your own carrier account, please contact us before dispatch.

Transit insurance

Shipments sent under our freight agreement may be insured during transit. If the customer arranges shipping independently, our transit insurance does not apply.

Your responsibility on delivery

  • Inspect your order immediately upon receipt for visible damage, missing items, or incorrect goods.
  • If possible, note any visible issues with the carrier at the time of delivery.
  • Keep all packaging materials until the matter has been resolved.
  • Notify us as soon as possible, and no later than 7 days after delivery, if anything is missing, damaged, or incorrect.

If things go wrong

Transit damage

Please contact us promptly if your shipment was damaged during transit. Photos of the package, label, and damaged goods may be required.

Warranty information

Unless otherwise stated for a specific product, our products carry a 3-year limited warranty against functional and manufacturing defects from the order date.

Return requests

Standard products may be eligible for return if unused, in original packaging, and approved by us in advance. Return requests must normally be made within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless otherwise agreed. Custom-made, personalized, or made-to-order items cannot be returned unless faulty.

Liability & warranty conditions

Snelder Gruppen AB is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of revenue, loss of profit, or business interruption, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Warranty coverage does not apply to products that have been incorrectly stored, incorrectly installed, misused, abused, modified, or cleaned using unsuitable methods or chemicals. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, cuts, scratches, impact damage, and accidental damage are not covered.

Exclusions

We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, pricing errors, product information errors, and other inaccuracies on the website. Product colors and finishes shown online may differ slightly from the actual product.

Delivery delays

If delivery is delayed, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise. Delays do not entitle the customer to compensation for indirect or consequential losses.

Discounts & special offers

Promotions, discount codes, and special offers are normally single-use and cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly stated.


Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the online store barrier4u.com. The seller is Snelder Gruppen AB, operating under the trading name Barrier4u.com.

Formation of the contract

By completing checkout, the customer submits an offer to purchase. The contract is formed only when we accept the order by separate confirmation or by dispatching the goods. An automatic order acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance. We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders before dispatch, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, stock issues, or delivery limitations.

Checkout, payment & order review

Selected items are placed in the shopping cart, where shipping charges and the order total are displayed. Before submitting the order, the customer may review and correct the entered information. A binding order is placed after submitting payment and completing checkout.

Returns & cancellations

Customers may contact us at info@barrier4u.com to request a return or report a problem with an order.

Because we supply both standard and made-to-order products, return eligibility may vary by item. Standard unused items may be accepted for return subject to our approval and return conditions. Custom-made, printed, personalized, or special-order products are non-returnable unless they are defective or delivered in error.

If a return is approved, the customer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise agreed. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed after inspection of the returned goods.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to the seller’s place of establishment, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
